When Victoria ‘Tory’ Brennan, niece of Temperance Brennan (from the TV series Bones) and her friends, Shelton, Ben and Hiram ‘Hi’, find a military id dog tag, they begin the process of returning it to the proper owner. This leads them to find a half wolf, half dog puppy being used for unauthorized experiments. After kidnapping the dog, Copper, and taking him to their bunker, they attempt to help him on the road to recovery, the experiments having taken a toll on him. Over the next few day however, all four teens begin having unexplained sickness and weird super senses. As the book continues, they start to learn what’s happened to them, what it means and find themselves in the middle of an unsolved murder from many years ago. 

I really enjoyed this book, finding it difficult to put down. After finishing, I immediately wanted to get the next book in this trilogy, Seizure. The plot and characters were well written and kept me interested until the end. If you love acting, adventure, suspense and cliff-hangers until the very end, this book is definitely for you.
